Position Scope 

The Proposal Specialist will provide support on a variety of business development assignments, focusing on proposals but also multi-tasking to include the development of qualification packages, presentations, resumes, and project profiles. 

Location & Travel: This position is eligible to be remote, located anywhere in the U.S. Expected travel for the position is up to 25%   

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities  

  • Review proposal requests to determine the required information and documentation.
  • Assist in the creation of pre-qualification packages to clients.
  • Consult on strategy, integrated graphic and layout elements for impact, and 
    supported continuous improvement in proposal development.
  • Analyzes and interprets Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Qualifications (RFQs), and Requests for Proposal (RFPs) to identify requirements for the proposal submittal.
  • Ensures all required proposal information is accurate and in compliance.
  • Maintains positive working relationship with internal and external customers.
  • Proofreads, edits, and formats written material.
  • Manages multiple pursuits concurrently while meeting quality standards and deadlines.
  • Ensure CRM data integrity through process driven utilization.
  • Compiles and distributes meeting notes, action items, and review comments from all proposal meetings.
  • Engage with clients by responding to questions and addressing needs to ensure clarity and alignment throughout the process.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Work Experience  

  • Associated or Bachelors degree in Communication, Marketing, Business (or other related field) is preferred.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience creating proposal responses or equivalent documentation.
  • Exposure to medium and/ or high voltage substations, collection systems, transmission lines, and /or BESS preferred.
